Is swimming dangerous after a good meal ?

Some say you shouldn’t swim after. Why is that ?

This myth originated in early 1900s but there is no medical evidence which can prove swimming is dangerous after eating food.

Well it can be a little difficult to swim or exercise with a full stomach. Also food take almost four hours to digest even longer if meal include lots of fats. The myth says that during digestion blood moves from muscles to stomach so its harder to swim with no energy in muscles but there is no medical evidence about this and our body has enough oxygen to provide energy to muscles .
